Holistic Nutrition Education &
Music Therapy Synchronization for Crisis Management.

The School District of Philadelphia has approximately 180,000 students in over 270 public schools . In many of these schools there has been a troubling amount of violence, truancy, low academic performance, and sexual transmitted diseases. These schools are literally comprised of neighbors. Most of the students have known each other all of their lives. Many of them are related or will see one another everyday outside of school. Yet the viciousness in which they deal with each other and the community is unnerving. Moved to action, LoveLovingLove Inc. has done a significant amount of research in to the philosophies that encourage wellness. Based on that research we have designed the LoveLovingLove DeEscalation Room for the Philadelphia public schools. This room has dual purpose. It was created to improve quality of life and academic performance. Each aspect of the room has been carefully and deliberately designed to synchronize the elements of holistic nutrition. We believe that negative behavior is a result of eating poorly, harnessing negative emotions, stress, depression and lack of purpose.

We feel that the music therapy and holistic health education is a viable solution to some of our most pressing issues in the schools. Our teens are well on their way to becoming adults in our society. It is our hope that we can change some of their behaviors, and help fashion better lifestyle choices. The LoveLovingLove DeEscalation Room has three components: mind, body and spirit. Our room is crafted to encourage offer healthy alternatives to violence, HIV\AIDS testing*,and promote a healthy love filled life.

The room was originally designed for high school students. The reason is because they represent the portion of society that has the greatest need and are neglected the most. Ninth grade have also been identified as the pivotal time in a students scholastic career; it is the transition into high school that is not properly supported that put these students at risk for non matriculation. Many adults leave teenagers to their own vices, leaving them to make poor, unadvised lifestyle decisions. Many of our teens do not eat properly, do not know how to control their negative emotions, do not practice safe sex and do not feel purpose in life. It is our aim to effectively teach high school students techniques that can carry them well into adulthood and behaviors that can last the rest of their lives.

Elemental Breakdown:

  • Ambiance: We want the students feeling peaceful and focused. The music, cleaning products, and artwork we have chosen for the DeEscalation Room was designed for this purpose.
  • Music: Nuphonics is a company devoted to audio science. They create CD’s that allow you to “Experience the power of scientifically and artistically designed music and sound compositions uniquely crafted to enhance the way you think, feel, and function” . We believe that music is a powerful tool and can be used in healing and therapy. Our playlist also includes music from the well renowned LiND & Monroe Institutes.
  • Integrative Medicine: The room provides healthy fruit and water and suggestions created by the top physicians who practice integrative holistic medicine. These suggestions are typed on sheets that say “Get Tested” at the bottom.


Our mission is to decrease violence and advance academic performance by improving the seven {7} components of health for students using holistic health techniques. We recognize these 7 components as being:

Physical – managing ones health on a daily basis.
Intellectual – learning new skills everyday.
Emotional – accepting and managing difficult feelings.
Social – contributing to the community in a constructive and positive way.
Environmental – thriving in a safe work and play environment.
Occupational – developing talents to make meaningful contributions.
Spiritual – finding purpose and meaning in life.

Our ultimate goal is to provide a holistic loving experience. In accomplishing this we expect to see an increase in memory function, focus, serenity and general wellbeing among the users, including teachers. We expect to see a decrease in violence, and truancy. These are all potent ingredients for a successful education. Students will feel the effects immediately which is the reward system they need to stimulate regular usage. Teachers may also visit the room during breaks to enjoy the soothing benefits. This is a service that we believe the school system can use to help better service our unhealthy children.

Get Involved with the Earthship Philadelphia Project, 2021
